Fund Raising.

The Coal Field’s Regeneration Trust.
Ellington Juniors have been successful in obtaining a grant from the coal field’s regeneration trust to provide all of our players with anew football strip for the 2006/2007 season.

The Coal Field’s Regeneration Trust was set up in September 1999 to help tackle social and economic problems in Coal Field Communities in England, Scotland and Wales. Between September 1999 and March 2005 the trust has spent approximately £100 million on 1300 projects. It plans to spend a further £50m by March 2008.

Ellington Juniors fundraising committee are Grateful for their contribution. The young people are extremely pleased with their new Strip.

Awards for All
The club have also been successful in purchasing new Rain jackets and funding training thanks to another grant from the Big Lottery fund. Again this has enhanced the self esteem of all of the players from a range of back grounds who now are in receipt of these jackets. In addition we have been able to enrol members of the club on coaching courses to assist in the development of the club.

Further Fundraising information will be added as appropriate.
